ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the fourth respondent to file final report in connection with Crime No.33 of 2022 dated 22.01.2022 on the file of the respondent police based on the representation dated 19.12.2024.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that in pursuance to the directions by this Court vide order dated 23.01.2025 the case in Crime No.33 of 2022 is now transferred to the file of the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Thanjavur and re-numbered as Crime No.1 of 2025. He further submitted that in this case the occurrence had taken place in the year 2022 and now almost three years is over. He would further submit that the respondent police would conclude the investigation without any further delay.

3. In view of the same the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Thanjavur is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.1 of 2025 and file final report preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Further the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Thanjavur to monitor the investigation process. 2/4

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of .
