O R D E R
The petitioner has given a complaint dated 02.01.2018 and has thereafter, filed the present petition for a direction to the respondent police to register an FIR.

2. At the outset, this petition is not maintainable, in view of the law laid down by this Court in Sugesan Transport Pvt. Ltd., v. the Assistant Commissioner of Police, J2 Adyar Police Station, Chennai and another reported in 2016(5) CTC 577.
3. However, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint given by the petitioner was looked into by the respondent police and since it did not disclose the commission of any cognizable offence, the matter has been referred to the Department of Municipal Administration for appropriate action.
