ORDER
The contention of the petitioner is that he is in possession of the property in Survey Nos.1194/3f, 1565/3A1, 3A4A1 of Enjaar village, Sivakasi Taluk, Virudhunagar District and that the private respondents (respondents 3 to 6) are attempting to interfere with his peaceful possession and enjoyment of the said property. In this regard, he lodged a complaint with the second respondent and though the same was registered in C.S.R. No.2/2024, the police had not taken any action. In such circumstances, he had prayed for granting police protection to him and his family members.

Mr.T.Senthil Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would contend that the third respondent approached this Court by way of filing a Writ Petition in W.P.(MD)No.30589 of 2023 for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the District Registrar, Virudhunagar District, to register documents pertaining to the land in Survey Nos.1194/3f, 1565/3A1, 3A4A1 of Enjaar village, Sivakasi Taluk, Virudhunagar District. The police as far as the present case is concerned conducted an enquiry and advised both the parties to approach a proper civil Court. 2/4
3. Recording the aforesaid submissions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to approach the civil Court, if so advised.
