O R D E R

The petitioner has come forward with this application under Section 482 of Cr.P.C seeking a direction to the respondent to expedite investigation and to file a final report within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court in Crime No. 65 of 2015 on the file of the respondent.

2. Heard the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No. 65 of 2015 was registered for the offences under Sections 448, 342, 294 (b), 323 and 506(ii) IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of Prohibition of Exorbitant Interest Act.

4. At this juncture, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that the investigation is considerably over and hence, the respondent wants two months time for completing the investigation and file a final report.

5. Considering the representation made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) and since the case has been registered on 05.03.2015 for the offences under Section 448, 342, 294(b), 323 and 506(ii) IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of Prohibition of Exorbitant Interest Act and investigation is considerably over, two months time is granted to the respondent to complete the investigation and to file a final report. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Hence, the respondent is directed to complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
