O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner, to direct the second respondent to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner, dated 21.12.2016. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the proposed accused has attacked the petitioner's house and damaged the wooden wall and also assaulted the petitioner's wife and hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the second respondent on 21.12.2016, but so far, no action has been taken.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) has submitted that the proposed accused gave a complaint against the petitioner and his wife and based on that complaint, a case has been registered in Crime No.555 of 2016 and the same is pending for investigation. He further submitted that after receipt of the complaint from the petitioner, enquiry has been commenced and the same is still pending.

4.Considering the aforesaid submissions, the second respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry on the basis of the petitioner's compliant and if the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, then he has to register a case and proceed further in accordance with law within fifteen days.

5.with the above said observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
