ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the first respondent to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.287 of 2021 pending on the file of the second respondent to any other investigating agency.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the second respondent, after completing the investigation, has altered the case from Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 324 and 506(2) IPC to Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 506(2), 326 and 307 IPC against three persons and they have already filed the alteration report dated 24.09.2024 before the jurisdictional Court.

3. Mr.S.Nazeer, Inspector of Police, Pattukottai Circle, Thanjavur District is present before this Court and he would submit that they will complete the investigation within 15 days and he has also produced the 2/4

copy of the alteration report.

4. Recording the same, the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.287 of 2021 and file a final report before the jurisdictional Court within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
