PRAYER: Criminal Original petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the first respondent to not to harass the petitioners without following the due process of law. This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry without following procedure.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners has submitted that one Dharmaraj, who is the son of the first and second petitioners got married with the second respondent on 27.08.2017. Thereafter, the said Dharmaraj went to Singapore for the purpose of job. He further submitted that now the second respondent gave a false complaint stating that she has been subjected to the harassment by demanding dowry and based on the said complaint, the first respondent is harassing the petitioners herein. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has submitted that the main issue is that after 46 days from the date of marriage, the
said Dharmaraj has left the second respondent and went abroad and hence she is seeking for re-union.
4.Considering the aforesaid submissions, the petitioners are directed to take steps for reunion of the second respondent with the said Dharmaraj. Further, the first respondent is directed not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry. If reunion is not possible, then it is open to the first respondent to enquire the complaint and dispose of the same in accordance with law. 5.With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
