O R D E R

The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking for a direction, directing the respondents to provide police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members on the basis of the complaint, dated 24.07.2015.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that since there is a threat to his life, the petitioner has made a complaint before the second respondent police to provide police protection. But, the same was not considered so far. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with this petition for the above stated relief.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the second respondent police is directed to consider the complaint/representation of the petitioner, dated 24.07.2015 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of seven days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
