Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to remove the petitioner's name from history sheeted rowdies list which is being maintained by the 2nd respondent police as H.S.No.129/2014 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 10.01.2022 within the time stipulation as prescribed by this Court.

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents. 2.It is true that the petitioner was once implicated in a murder case. But then, the same ended in acquittal. The petitioner has not come under adverse notice of the respondent police after 2018. Since as on date, there is no case pending against the petitioner, the respondents are directed to delete the petitioner's name from the history sheeted rowdies list. This shall be done as expeditiously as possible.
