and business from their existing allotted vending zone situated at WB Road Kamarajar Arch area without allocate the alternate vending zone in the light of provisions contained under Rules 13(1) (a) (b) (c) (d) of Tamil Nadu Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Scheme and Rules 2015 based on the petitioners representation dated 31.12.2025 within time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R
[Order of the Court was made by DR.G.JAYACHANDRAN, J.] An individual who has a private interest as a street vendor has filed this writ petition under the guise of public interest litigation. For this reason alone, we are not inclined to entertain this writ petition.
2. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. However, it is made clear that though this writ petition is dismissed, the respondents are expected to follow due process of law, while re-allotting the street vendors, who have already been protected under the Tamil Nadu Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Scheme. No costs.
