ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner is arrayed as sole accused in Crime No.216 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police, for the offences punishable under Sections 392 read with 397 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 08.07.2015. He has come forward with this petition seeking bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 08.07.2015, the accused had demanded Rs.200/- from the defacto complainant at knife point.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the grand father of the petitioner died on 05.07.2015, while so, the petitioner was taken into custody by the respondent on 05.07.2015 at about 05.00 p.m., under the guise of enquiry and he was not released for two days. Hence, his mother-Maheswari sent a complaint to the Superintendent of Police on 07.07.2015 with regard to illegal detention by the respondent and thereafter, this case has been registered on 08.07.2015.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that the petitioner has no bad antecedents.

5. Considering the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

6. Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail, on executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Musiri, Trichy District and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m. until further orders.
