ORDER

The present petition is filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the third respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner.

2. A perusal of the records shows that the petitioner already filed a petition in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.23438 of 2023 for withdrawing the case in Crime No.73 of 2023 from the file of the Inspector of Police, Elangambur Police Station, and transfer the same to some other investigating agency. Since the investigation was completed and a final report was also filed through E-filing, this Court directed the present petitioner to approach the Judicial Magistrate, Muthukulathur, where the final report was filed by the police and on her appearance, the Judicial Magistrate, Muthukulathur, was directed to take cognizance of the final report after hearing the defacto complainant. 2/4

3. In such circumstances, the petitioner can appear before the concerned Judicial Magistrate to redress her grievance and the present petition, in the opinion of this Court, is totally unnecessary.

4. With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
