This direction petition is filed to direct the second respondent to provide police protection to construct the compound wall and the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members as per the representation of the petitioner dated 20.07.2015. 2.The petitioner seeks police protection to construct the compound wall and her life and limb and her family members through a representation dated 20.07.2015. Now, 2-1⁄2 years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous.

3.In view of the same, this criminal original petition is dismissed as infructuous.
