Prayer : Appeal filed under Clause XV of the Letters Patent, against the order dated 07.03.2022 made in W.P(MD)No.16773 of 2021. For Appellants : Mr.S.Shaji Bino Special Government Pleader For Respondent : Mr.S.Balamurugan
JUDGMENT
(Judgment of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH, J.) The present Writ Appeal is directed against the order passed by the Writ Court dated 07.03.2022 made in W.P(MD)No.16773 of 2021. 2.
The main and only ground raised by the appellants is that there is a positive direction issued by the Writ Court, to grant compassionate appointment within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of the order passed in W.P(MD)No.16773 of 2021, dated 07.03.2022.
3.
According to the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the appellants, since the respondent / writ petitioner cannot be appointed as a Noon Mean Organiser within the period of twelve weeks as stipulated in the impugned order of the Writ Court, the appellants have preferred the present appeal.

4.
A plain reading of the order passed in the writ petition would indicate that what the Court had directed was only to place the respondent / writ petitioner in the general list of persons to be considered under the compassionate appointment scheme. We are of the view that for this course of action alone, the period of twelve weeks has been granted. If that be so, the appellants may not have any further grievance. 5.
With the aforesaid clarification, the Writ Appeal stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. (M.S.R, J.) (A.D.M.C, J.) Index : Yes / No 21.01.2025 : Yes / No bala To
