This quash petition is filed to quash the criminal proceedings in M.C.No.149 of 2014 on the file of the learned Mahila Court (Judicial Magistrate Level) Madurai, as against the petitioners.

2.On perusal of the records would show that the complaint has been filed under the Domestic Violence Act by the respondent and also the matter has already been referred before the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, attached to this Bench, but the parties are not settled their dispute amicably. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to quash the petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
