: Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code praying to direct the second respondent to complete the investigation within stipulated time fixed by this Court and file final report in Crime No.107 of 2015 dated 26.04.2015 and pass further or other orders as this Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.

ORDER
The petitioner has come forward with this application under Section 482 of Cr.P.C seeking a direction to the second respondent to complete the investigation within stipulated time fixed by this Court and file a final report in Crime No.107 of 2015 dated 26.04.2015.
2. Heard the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner a case in Crime No.107 of 2015 was registered for the offence under Sections 417, 419, 466, 471 and 420 IPC, but, the respondent has not shown any interest to investigate the matter. The learned counsel for the petitioner would further submit that one Nagarajan and Arivalagan S/o Nagarajan have forced the petitioner to sign in the marriage registration certificate dated 14.06.2013 and she approached this Court seeking a direction directing the second respondent to investigate the matter and file a final report within the stipulated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
time fixed by this Court.
4. At this juncture, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that since the case is registered under Sections 417, 419, 466, 471 and 420 IPC, the second respondent wants six months time to file a final report.

Considering the nature of the offence that a young lady was forced by virtue of a fabricated marriage certificate, I am of the view that it is a fit case to grant only two months time to investigate the matter. Hence, the second respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in the case in Crime No.107 of 2015 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The second respondent police is also directed to give top priority to the matter and file a final report, within two months from the date of receipt of the order.
6. With the above direction, this petition is disposed of.
