O R D E R
This Civil Revision Petition has been filed to direct the District Munsif of Kovilpatti, for early disposal of the I.A.No.2 of 2025 in O.S.No.111 of 2025.
2. This Court, vide order dated 12.02.2026, had directed the Learned District Munsif, Kovilpatti, to send a year wise pendency report of the pending suits and in compliance of the same, the Learned District Munsif, Kovilpatti, had sent a report vide proceedings in D.No.64 of 2026, dated 20.02.2026, annexing the breakup details with regard to the pendency of the cases till date, which was addressed to the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court. From the perusal of the same, it is seen that the total number of pending cases is 823 and the pendency of the suits in the year 2025 is 145.
3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.
4. After hearing both sides, it appears that the present Civil Revision Petition has been filed before this Court, without ascertaining whether the respondent had entered appearance before the trial Court and without understanding the procedure followed by the trial Court.
5. This Court has considered the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioner. The suit in question is of the year
2025. Considering the year of institution of the suit, this Court does not find any compelling reason to issue a direction to the trial Court to expedite the trial. Hence, this Civil Revision Petition is dismissed for want of merits with Costs of Rs. 10,000/- to be paid to the High Court Legal Services Committee attached to this Bench.
