This Criminal Original petition has been filed to direct the second respondent police to register a case on the complaint dated 05.02.2018 given by the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the proposed accused has borrowed a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only) from the petitioner. Subsequently, the petitioner has made a demand to return the said amount, but, the proposed accused, instead of returning the amount, he has abused the petitioner with filthy language and also criminally intimidated him and hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint on 15.02.2018, but sofar, no action has been taken.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has submitted that the enquiry is still pending.

4. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the second respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry and if the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, then he has to register a case and proceed in accordance with law.

5. With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
