O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to register a case for an alleged offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 452, 323, 354, 294(b), 506(ii) of IPC and Section 4 of the TamilNadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, 2002 on the basis of the petitioner's complaint, dated 25.01.2018.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the proposed accused persons, armed with deadly weapons, criminally trespassed into the petitioner's house on 21.01.2018 at about 06.45 p.m., abused, assaulted and intimidated the petitioner and the petitioner's wife and hence the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the second respondent on 25.01.2018, but sofar, no action has been taken.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has submitted that the enquiry is still pending.

4. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the second respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry and if the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, then he has to register a case and proceed in accordance with law.

5. With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
