PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the 2nd respondent to give adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members to conduct the 1st year Thithi to the petitioner's deceased father on 26.01.2024 on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 29.12.2023 within the stipulated period.

ORDER

The present petition is filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to provide police protection to the petitioner and his family members to conduct the 1st year ceremony of the petitioner's deceased father on 26.01.2024 on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 29.12.2023. 2.The case of the petitioner is that the respondents 3 and 4 are preventing him from conducting rituals of his father in Nemmeli Village on 26.01.2024, as they failed in the suit in O.S.No.122 of 1996 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Thirumayam, in which the present petitioner is one of the opposite parties.

3.Mr.T.Senthil Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would contend that the police had considered the representation dated 29.12.2023 given by the petitioner and had come to a conclusion that the respondents 3 and 4 are not creating any problems. 2/4

4.Recording the said submission, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
