ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to complete the enquiry based on the petitioner's complaint in CSR No.1363 of 2024 dated 04.10.2024 in accordance with law with the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The petitioner had lodged complaint through post based on which CSR No.1363 of 2024 assigned. Thereafter no action has been taken.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint of the petitioner, the petitioner as well as the counter parties were called for enquiry. The petitioner failed to appear for enquiry but the counter parties had appeared and given statement reverting the petitioner's complaint. Thereafter the enquiry has been closed on 05.01.2025.

4. In view of the same, nothing survives for further adjudication in the petition. In any event opportunity is given to the petitioner to appear before the respondent and give his explanation. 2/5

5. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner on instructions submitted that the petitioner will appear before the respondent police for enquiry on 29.01.2025 along with supporting materials.

6. In view of the same, the closure report in CSR No. 1363 of 2024 is set aside. The petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent police for enquiry on 29.01.2025 with all relevant materials . The second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry in this regard and dispose of the same within a period of two months from 29.01.2025.

7. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
