O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide police protection to the petitioner.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has constructed a house in Survey No.205/14, in Ammapatti Village, Thuraiyur Taluk. He further submitted that already the petitioner's father has filed a suit in O.S.No.36 of 1992, on the file of the learned District Munsif Court, Thuraiyur, in respect of path way and the said suit decreed in his favour. Subsequently, the petitioner has filed a suit in O.S.No.8 of 2009, on the file of the same Court and the same is still pending. He further submitted that the respondents 3 and 4 abused the petitioner with filthy words and criminally intimated him and hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the respondents 1 and 2 on 31.01.2018, but so far, no action has been taken. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) has submitted

that after receipt of the complaint, the second respondent commenced the enquiry and the enquiry is still pending before him. 4.Considering the aforesaid submissions, the second respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry and if the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, then he has to register a case and proceed further in accordance with law. In case, the enquiry reveals only a civil dispute, then he has to direct the parties to work out their remedy before the Civil Court.

4.With the aforesaid submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
