O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed for a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and her husband Saktheeswaran's life and limb. 2.The petitioner is said to have married one Saktheeswaran and the marriage was conducted on 17.07.2015. As both the petitioner and her husband belong to different community, it was objected to by the family members of the petitioner especially, by her father. 3.Seeking police protection alleging that there is perpetrated threat from her father and other members of the family, the petitioner has come forward to file this Criminal Original Petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) submitted that the complaint is yet to be received and after conducting enquiry, appropriate steps would be taken.

5.The learned counsel for the petitioner produced photographs showing the marriage.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the third respondent police is directed to look into the complaint of the petitioner and to take appropriate steps to give adequate police protection.

7.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
