O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to register a case based upon the complaint given by the petitioner dated 12.02.2018.

2.The petitioner/party-in-person has submitted that on 12.02.2018, he was returning from High Court after finishing his work, he came over to south and west Malamasi Street junction, there he shocked to see some illegal banners belonging to BJP party, after seeing the same, he immediately send a complaint through e.mail on 12.02.2018 but, so far, no case has been registered.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents has submitted that already the Sub-Inspector of Police, Thideer Nagar has registered a case in Crime No.90/18 and the Sub-Inspector of Police, South Gate Police Station has also https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

registered a case in Crime No.93/18. In respect of the banners erected by one Hariharasuthan. Hence there is no necessity to register another case based on the complaint given by the petitioner. He further submitted that alleged place of occurrence Malamasi Street comes within the jurisdiction of Thideer Nagar Police Station.

4.Considering the aforesaid submissions, the Inspector of Police, Thideer Nagar Police Station, is directed to enquire the petitioner's complaint and if the said enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, then he has to register a case and proceed further in accordance with law.

5.With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
