Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India,for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondent to pay interest at the rate of 18 percent per annum for the period of delay from 01.06.19 to 24.01.21 in paying the amounts paid towards the terminal benefits of the petitioner namely EPF Employees contribution, gratuity and encashment of earned leaves within a time frame as may be fixed by this Hon'ble court.

ORDER

Alleging non-compliance of the orders of this Court in W.P.(MD) No.6655 of 2021, dated 24.03.2021, the petitioner has filed this contempt petition.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Counsel for the respondent submitted that the orders of this Court has been complied with. Cont.P(MD)No.122 of 2022 to the calculation of interest for the commutation amount. Therefore, he prayed for a direction to the respondent to furnish the copy of the calculation memo arrived by them. 3.In view of the aforesaid submission, this contempt petition stands closed. However, the respondent Corporation shall furnish a copy of the calculation memo arrived by them to the petitioner and the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the same, if so advised.
