ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed to direct the learned Subordinate Judge, Uthamapalayam, Theni District, to expedite the trial in HMOP No.2 of 2021 on its file within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would state that the above HMOP was filed praying for the relief of divorce on mutual consent and the respondent herein had entered her appearance and the case has been posted to 7th month of 2021. Hence the petitioner has come forward with this petition for speedy disposal. 3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Despite the service of notice, there is no appearance for the respondent either by herself or through counsel.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and without adverting to the merits of the case, ends of justice would be met if a direction is given to the learned Judge to dispose of the above HMOP within a time frame. Accordingly, the learned Sub Judge, Uthamapalayam, Theni District, is directed to dispose of HMOP No.2 of 2021 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
