O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.36 of 2014, before the lower Court within stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 30.01.2014, the second respondent has registered a case in Crime No.36 of 2014 under Section 174 Cr.P.C., and subsequently, it was altered into Section 302 IPC on 06.02.2014. But, thereafter, the second respondent did not take any further action and hence he requests to direct the second respondent to file a final report at early.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has submitted that the said case has been transferred to the Inspector of Police, Anna Nagar Police Station, Madurai District, and there, the case was registered in Crime No.443 of 2014 and the investigation is still pending and he requests to grant three months time to file a final report.

4. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the Inspector of Police, Anna Nagar Police Station, Madurai District, is directed to expedite the investigation and file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original petition is disposed of.
