The relief sought for in this writ petition is to direct the respondents to provide employment to the petitioner on compassionate grounds based on his representations, dated 26.08.2016 and 30.11.2021.

2. The father of the petitioner Muthupandi was working as Night Watchman in the third respondent Office. The employee died on 19.08.2014 while he was in service. The mother of the petitioner filed an application seeking appointment on compassionate grounds on 17.12.2015 and unfortunately, she also died. Thus, the petitioner submitted an application on 26.08.2016, within a period of three years from the date of death of the deceased employee as required under the scheme of compassionate appointment.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents made a submission that if at all the relevant documents are enclosed by the petitioner, then his case will be considered under the scheme of compassionate appointment.

4. In view of the above facts and circumstances, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's application https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD) No.1057 of 2022 for compassionate appointment and take a decision and pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible in accordance with the scheme of compassionate appointment.
