ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners, who are arrayed as accused in Crime No.154 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police, were arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 15.07.2015 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 147 and 148 of I.P.C., and Section 3 of TNPPDL Act, and hence, seek bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that on 15.07.2015, the petitioners caused damage to the vehicle of the defacto complainant to the tune of Rs.25,000/-.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are innocent and they have been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioners are ready to deposit Rs.2,000/- each to the credit of Crime No.154 of 2015 without prejudice to their right in the criminal case. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side)would submit that the petitioners have caused damage to the window and door of car belonged to the def-cato complainant.
5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioners on bail on condition that the petitioners shall deposit a sum of Rs.2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand only) each to the credit of Crime No.154 of 2015 before the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
learned Judicial Magistrate, Srivaikundam within a period of two weeks and on receipt of the same, the petitioners are directed to be released on bail on each of them executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Srivaikundam and on further condition that the petitioners shall reside at Melur and report before the Melur Police Station daily at 10.00 a.m., until further orders.
