ORDER

This Criminal Original petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file final report in Crime No.178 of 2016 at early.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal side) appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent has registered a case on 05.08.2016 in Crime No.178 of 2016 for the offences under Sections 406, 420, 294(b) and 506(i) of I.P.C. But, thereafter, no steps have been taken for filing final report.

4. The learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) has submitted that the investigation is in progress and final report will be filed within two months.

5. Recording the aforesaid submissions, the respondent is

directed to expedite the investigation and to file a final report within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the aforesaid observation, this petition is disposed of.
