ORDER
Heard Mr.T.M.Madasamy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Kameswaran, learned Government Advocate who had taken notice for respondents 1 to 3.
2. In view of the nature of the order passed, notice is not directed to the fourth respondent herein. 1/3
3. The petitioner's father, Arockiam had inherited the property from his father, Gnanaprakasam. After the death of the petitioner's father, the property had devolved to the petitioner and his brother. The patta was in the joint names and later a separate patta was also issued to the legal heirs. However, the revenue records stood in the name of Arockiam till the year 1973. Thereafter, there was a sub-division of the survey numbers. The petitioner claims that his share had been usurped.
4. Thereafter, the petitioner had filed an application before the third respondent/the Tahsildar, Taluk Office, Manapparai, Trichy District seeking to modify the records. The petitioner's petition is now pending on the file of the second respondent. 5.
On hearing Mr.S.Kameswaran, learned Government Advocate, a direction is issued to the second respondent to examine the records, issue notice and dispose of the representation filed by the petitioner on or before 31.03.2022.
6. With the said observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
