ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to issue suitable direction to the trial Court for speedy disposal of the above in C.C.No.179 of 2012 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Nagercoil to dispose of the case on day to day basis within the stipulated time.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the trial was commenced on 06.02.2013 and due to non-cooperation of the accused till today, the case is adjourned again and again. He would further submit that the case is pending from 2012 onwards.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that the trail is yet to be commenced and that the trial Court may be directed to dispose of the case within a time frame fixed by this Court.

4. Admittedly, the case is pending from 2012 onwards. 2/5

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also taking note of the fact that the case is pending from 2012 onwards, the trial Court is directed to complete the trial and dispose of the case in C.C.No.179 of 2012 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
