ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.942 of 2024 dated 05.11.2024 on the file of the first respondent police 1/4

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent submitted already they completed investigation and closed the case as 'Mistake of Fact' .

3. The learned counsel appearing for the second respondent would submit that they have not received any notice. Whileso, it is for the trial court to take appropriate steps to serve notice to the petitioner in accordance with law. After receipt of notice, the defacto complainant can take appropriate steps to challenge the closure report in the manner known to law.

5. In view of the said discussions, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition stands closed.
