The learned counsel for the appellants submitted that the writ appeal has become infructuous as per the letter No.2534/PSDD2/2020, dated 14.05.2024 issued by the TNPSC and he has also made the following endorsement to that effect :

"In view of the letter issued by the Commission in No.2534/PSD-D2/2020, dated 14.05.2024 the writ appeal filed by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission become infructuous."

2. Recording the said submission, this Writ Appeal is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
