punishable under Sections 6(4) and 7(1)(a)(ii) of Essential Commodities Act, 1955, in Crime No.284 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and other accused persons illegally transported 5200 kgs of PDS Rice in their vehicels bearing Registration Nos.TN76 BZ5071 and TN95 J2520. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offences as alleged by the prosecution. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready and willing to abide by any conditions which may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he seeks anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that there are three previous cases pending against the petitioner. He further submitted that there was a gang war in distributing PDS rice. He further submitted that this Court had already dismissed the anticipatory bail application in respect of A1. Hence, he opposed granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that there are three previous cases pending against the petitioner and this Court had already dismissed the anticipatory bail application in respect of A1, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
