Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners are arrayed as A2 and A3, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the offence punishable under Sections 498 (A), 406, 506(i) of IPC and Section 4 of Tamilnadu Prohibition of Woman Harassment Act, 2002 registered in Crime No.07 of 2017 on the file of the respondent Police, seek anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners are father-in-law and mother-in-law of the defacto complainant. Due to the dowry harassment, the defacto complainant was met with physical and verbal abuse from the husband and his relatives. Hence, the defacto complainant filed a complaint before the respondent police. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and hence, he pleads for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioners are already granted anticipatory bail, as per order
dated 12.10.2017 in Crl.O.P.(MD) Nos.11882 and 11842 of 2017. 5.The Submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side are considered. As per order passed in Crl.O.P.(MD) Nos.11882 and 11842 of 2017, anticipatory bail was already granted to the petitioners herein for the same Crime No.7 of 2017.
