O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent to conduct fair and impartial investigation and to file a final report in Crime No.168 of 2017.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that based upon the complaint given by the petitioner dated 12.03.2017, the case was registered in Crime No.168 of 2017 under Sections 147, 294(b), 452, 323, 506(1), 406 and 420 IPC and Section 4 of the TamilNadu Prohibition of Charging Exorbitant Interest Act, 2003, but sofar, final report has not been filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has submitted that the investigation is under progress and he seeks five months time for filing final report.

4. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry and file a final report within a period of five months.
