The petitioner herein is arrayed as accused in C.C.No.335 of 2012, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sivakasi, Virudhunagar District. He filed this application under the provisions of Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to quash the said C.C.No.335 of 2012 .

2. Today, when the case is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent represented that on 21.02.2018 itself, the case pertaining to this https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petition was disposed of, in which the petitioner was acquitted from all the charges by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sivakasi, Virudhunagar District. He also produced a copy of the said order before this Court.

3. The submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded. Hence, nothing survives for further adjudication in this case. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
