Prayer: Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to issue a direction to the 1st respondent to direct 2nd respondent to give necessary police protection to the petitioner and his parents for their life and limbs by considering the petitioner's representation dated 03.01.2023, within the period stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) and the learned counsel for the fourth respondent, present. The learned counsel for the fourth respondent also submits that he represents other unofficial respondents as well, who are the parents and brothers of the third respondent.

2. The proceedings before the Court would disclose that the petitioner and the unofficial respondents were referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre attached to this Bench earlier and after 2/5

mediation, a report was received and consequently, the final report was also received from the Deputy Registrar of the Medication and Conciliation Centre, wherein it is reported that the petitioner and the third respondent and other unofficial respondents have settled the issue amicably and an agreement was also accordingly, arrived at which was reduced in writing and signed on 27.03.2023, wherein it is mentioned that both the petitioner and the third respondent are not willing to get along with the marriage and decided to dissolve the marriage dated 07.11.2022, by filing a petition for divorce with mutual consent and an agreement was also entered into in respect of the other issues pending between them. This Criminal Original Petition is filed originally by the petitioner / husband, directing the police seeking police protection from the third respondent/ wife.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the third respondent also reports that the matter has been settled.

4. In view of the settlement arrived at mutually before the Medication and Conciliation Centre and an agreement has also arrived 3/5

between the parties, the relief for which the petition is filed, has become infructuous.
