O R D E R

This Contempt Petition is filed to punish the contemnors/respondents for the deliberate and willful disobedience of the order dated 02.09.2022 passed by this Court in W.P.(MD).No.10768 of 2021.

2. On an earlier occasion on 23.02.2024, it was brought to the notice of this court that the order which is alleged to have been violated by the respondents was appealed against in W.A.(MD)Nos.1778,1780 and 1784 of 2023 and interim stay was granted by the learned Division Bench of this Court on 11.10.2023 and hence time was granted to enable the counsel for the petitioner to take appropriate steps and the matter was directed to be posted today. Today, it is brought to the notice of this court that the interim stay is

still operating and no vacate stay application is filed by the petitioner as on date.

3. In view of the same, the question of violation of the order passed in the Writ Petition does not arise. Hence, the contempt petition is closed, leaving it open to the petitioner to file reopen petition in the event of the dismissal of the Writ Appeal.
