For Respondent : Mr.A.Robinson, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- for Anticipatory bail in Crime No. 3 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioners apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under section 8 of POCSO Act, in Crime No.3 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

3. The case of the prosecution is that on 16.01.2020, at about 08.00 p.m., the petitioners herein had molested the victim. 4.The petitioner's counsel alleged that there is a previous motive and that, this could be a case of mistake of identity. 5.Therefore, I directed the respondent police to obtain further statement from the victim. The victim in her further statement has clarified as to how the identity of the accused were fixed.

6.Since the case on hand involves the dignity and honour of a minor girl, I am not inclined to grant relief. Hence, this criminal original petition stands dismissed.
