The present petition is filed seeking for a direction to release the petitioner's vehicle, Mahindra XUV 500, bearing temporary Registration No.TN 49/TMP/2019/392 seized by the second respondent in connection with Crime No.1305 of 2020 dated 11.11.2020 for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 506
(2) of Indian Penal Code read with Section 25(1A) of Arms Act, 1959.
2. Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, would contend that the Mahindra XUV 500 bearing temporary Registration No.TN 49/TMP/2019/392 was seized by the second respondent and was produced before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Papanasam on 11.11.2020.

3. Considering the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to file appropriate application before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Papanasam for release of vehicle, if so advised. No costs.
