Prayer: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the first respondent to appoint any other Investigation Officer not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police and file a final report in Crime No.183 of 2019 on the file of the second respondent. ORDER

The present petition is filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to the first respondent to change the Investigation Officer in Crime No.183 of 2019 of Thirugokarnam Police Station.

2. Mr.S.Muthalraj, learned counsel for the petitioner, during the course of arguments, contended that it is enough if a direction is given to the second respondent to expedite the investigation and file a final report before the concerned Court.

3. Mr.A.Robinson, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, prayed for three months time to file a final report.

4. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the second respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and file a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.1449 of 2021 final report/referred charge sheet, as the case may be in Crime No.183 of 2019 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order/uploading of the order.
