This Petition is filed to modify the condition imposed by the Principal Sessions Judge, Tirunelveli, in Cr.M.P.No.198 of 2022, dated 12.01.2022, directing the petitioner to appear before the respondent Police daily twice at 10.30 a.m and 06.00 pm., until further orders.
2. It is evident from the records that the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tirunelveli in Cr.M.P.No.1025 of 2020 has granted bail with conditions that the petitioner has to appear and sign before the respondent police daily at 10.00 am until further orders. Subsequently, the petitioner has filed a petition to relax the conditions, before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tirunelveli and the learned Magistrate, on considering the submission made by the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor that the petitioner had appeared only for the period between 19.02.2020 and 07.03.2020 and thereafter, he has not turned up, dismissed the petition. CRL OP(MD). No.2718 of 2021 by the said order, the petitioner has filed a petition before the Principal District Court and the learned Principal Sessions Judge in Cr.M.P.No.198 of 2022 has directed the petitioner to appear before the respondent police daily twice at 10.30 am and 06.00 pm commencing from 14.02.2022 and other conditions remains unchanged. 3.The petitioner has filed the above petition, seeking modification of the conditions imposed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge in Cr.M.P.No.198 of 2022, dated 12.01.2022. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the petitioner was originally directed to appear before the respondent Police daily once at 10.
00 am until further orders, this Court is inclined to modify the condition imposed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge and the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police daily at 10.00 am until further order and the other conditions imposed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge shall remain unaltered. 5.With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
