ORDER

This petition is filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.122 of 2020 on the file of the first respondent.

2.On the side of the petitioners, it is stated that this case was registered during the time of lockdown, when the petitioners tried to celebrate the village festival. It is fairly admitted that the recent G.O. was passed withdrawing the cases filed during the lockdown for violation of lockdown rules and regulations. It is left to the petitioners to face the trial by invoking G.O. 3.On the side of the prosecution, it is stated that a chargesheet was filed on 26.08.2022 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Kadaladi and the same is yet to be taken on file.

4.In view of the above submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
