ORDER

The present petition is filed by the petitioner under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking for a direction to the respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.276 of 2019 on the file of Elayangudi Police Station, Sivagangai District and file a charge sheet.

2. Mr.R.Erottuchamy, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent, on instructions, would submit that investigation in Crime No.276 of 2019 is almost completed and prayed for two months time to file a final report.

3. Considering the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), the respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and file a final report/referred charge sheet as the case may be in Crime No.276 of 2019 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order/uploading of the order.

4. With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
