2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners confined their prayer to seeking a direction to the Tahsildar to consider their representations/objections on merits and in accordance with law.

3. In view of the aforesaid submissions made by the parties, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, these writ petitions are disposed of by directing the first respondent/Tahsildar to 3/5

consider the representations/objections of the petitioners, respondents 2 to 6, and all other interested parties, after conducting an inquiry and to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of any rival claims, the same may be agitated before the competent Civil Court. No costs.
