O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner on 22.01.2018.

2.Heard both sides.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the proposed accused had threatened the petitioner by showing pistol and also abused him and hence, a complaint was lodged on 08.11.2017, but, sofar, no action has been taken. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that on receipt of complaint, C.S.R.No.44/17 was issued and enquiry is still pending.

5.Considering the fact that the complaint is pending from 08.11.2017, the second respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry and if the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, then, he has to register the case and proceed with the same in accordance with law, within a week from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
