PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to survey the petitioner's property in Patta No.126, S.No.70/7A on Thirumanancheri Village, Karambakkudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District on the basis of the petitioner's survey receipt challan No. 2025/N123/006655 and the petitioner's representation dated 07.01.2025 in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

By consent of the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2.The petitioner seeks a limited prayer of issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to survey the petitioner's patta land in S.No.70/7A, Thirumanancheri Village, Karambakkudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District. The petitioner has made an online application on 02.01.2025 and paid the requisite fee and thereafter, he made a representation on 07.01.2025.

3.Today, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents, on instructions, would submit that the interest of a school adjoining owners is also involved and the respondents have no objection for surveying and demarcating the petitioner's land. However, the learned Government Advocate for the official respondents seeks the assistance of the police officials to avoid any breach of law and order situation at the time of survey. 4.In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents 4 and 5 to conduct a survey in the presence of the jurisdictional police officials after giving notice to the petitioner and any other interested parties. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
