O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to inspect the land in Survey No. 603, measuring an extent of 4 Acres and 61 Cents, situated at Nanjai Kalakurichi, Aravakurichi Taluk, Karur District and to redraw the subdivision sketch (FMB) by considering the petitioners' representation dated 18.12.2025.
2. With the consent of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the subdivision sketch (FMB) prepared by the second respondent is not in accordance with the sale deed; that the second respondent, without inspecting the land, had prepared the sketch by adopting the table work method; and that consequently, the petitioners filed an online application dated 08.12.2025 seeking survey of the property in question and submitted a representation dated 18.12.2025.

The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that proper steps would be taken to survey the land in question in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923 and pass appropriate orders, within a period of twelve weeks.

Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Court directs the respondents to consider the online application of the petitioners dated 08.12.2025 as well as their representation dated 18.12.2025 and survey the petitioners' land after considering the claims of all parties and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to pursue their remedies before the Civil Court. It is needless to state that before surveying the land, notice shall be issued to the adjacent landowners and other interested parties. The further proceedings shall be subject to the outcome of the survey. Page No. 3 of 5
6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
